The service

The site is a free library of Unicode characters, emoji, and kaomoji that you can search, copy, and paste. It is provided as a utility — not as a social network, not as professional advice, and not as a guaranteed font or rendering service.

• Use is free and does not require an account.
• Symbols are copied on your device; we do not host your bios, usernames, or messages.
• How a glyph looks depends on the font and app you paste into. Some characters may be missing, replaced with a box, or styled differently on another device.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to violate any law, including impersonation, fraud, or harassment.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape at a scale that degrades the service, or reverse-engineer the site in a way that harms other visitors.
• Misrepresent that Free Text Symbols endorses you, your product, or a third-party app.
• Introduce malware or automated traffic intended to overload the service.

Unicode symbols can be used in usernames and captions. You are responsible for how you use copied characters, including any platform rules (Instagram, Discord, schools, workplaces) that limit special characters.

Intellectual property

Individual Unicode characters are defined by the Unicode Standard and are not claimed as our copyright. You may copy and paste glyphs from the catalog for personal or commercial use, subject to the fonts and platforms you paste into.

The site’s design, layout, copy, original organization of the catalog, logo, and code are owned by Free Text Symbols or its licensors. You may not copy the site as a competing product, republish our guides wholesale, or use our branding without permission.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• every character will render in every app, font, or operating system;
• search results are complete or error-free;
• the site will be uninterrupted or free of defects;
• copied text is appropriate for a given community, school, or workplace.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free Text Symbols and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or from characters you copy and paste elsewhere.

Our total liability for any claim related to the site will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it in the twelve months before the claim. The site is free, so that amount is zero.
